Independent data work

Client projects and my own practice on real exports. It started with working through my own data and moved to client work in 2026.

  • Cleaning a popular-science portal's user base of bot registrations: labels derived from snapshot diffs, a leakage found in the original framing, threshold chosen by cost of error, and stability checked over time. Error analysis exposed a defect in the labels themselves — the list went to the owner and the base was cleaned further against it.
  • Catalogue and order analytics for an online store: a mart of 2,971 products and 4,234 orders, funnel analysis by status, assortment and price analytics.
  • A method for computing delivery metrics on cleaned data: explicit measurement boundaries and percentiles instead of a mean, against an inflated median in the raw export.
  • A data-quality monitoring service: hourly checks of 24 external sources, field contracts, tests, CI, and a dashboard.

A proptech company building digital products for property developers. Work centred on developer data: feeds, property catalogues, and project economics.

  • Designed and shipped, on my own initiative, a data-quality monitoring service: hourly checks of 24 developer feeds, field contracts, tests, CI, and a public dashboard. Discrepancies and feed degradation surface before the business notices them.
  • Project economics: effort estimation at pre-sale, budget and profitability across a portfolio of 6 projects, and defending those numbers to management.
  • Quality-standard and SLA compliance across the portfolio, with analysis of deviations.
  • Process systematization and manager onboarding: guidelines, checklists, and automation of routine operations.

A Moscow custom web-development studio operating since 2011, with work for MTS, Beeline, and Lenta.ru in its portfolio. Independent project on a self-employed basis, in parallel with my main role.

  • Built a method for computing delivery metrics on cleaned data: worked out exactly what inflates the median Cycle Time in a raw export, then introduced explicit measurement boundaries and percentiles instead of a mean. The cleaned figure was ~65 hours against 200+ in the source data.
  • Built flow metrics from scratch: Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, WIP limits, regular reporting, and a stakeholder dashboard.
  • Ran delivery for a portfolio of 6+ client projects at once with a distributed team of 8 developers; weekly throughput grew roughly ×1.8 over the engagement.

MEDINDEX is a medtech IT company supporting the technology landscape of Helix Laboratory Service. Its products include the LIMS at the core of laboratory operations and the 365 medical information system.

  • Migrated about 1,300 B2B partners onto new functionality in waves, without service downtime: population selected by activity, cohort-level control, and rollback of problem groups with reasons recorded.
  • Contributed to an onboarding redesign measured end to end; after a wider set of changes, probation attrition fell from 50% to 7%, time-to-productivity from 3 days to 1, new-hire errors by 35%, and CSAT reached 95%.
  • Prioritized the backlog by business value, gathering requirements from sorting operators and filtering out unvalidated requests before development.
  • Managed the desktop-to-web migration of the LIMS sorting module: UX rework, integrations, and an external contractor.

A nationwide search and online-booking platform for real-estate agents and agencies working with new-build properties.

  • Took the "Developer Cabinet" (a B2B customer portal) MVP through to its first real deal closed through the product; the product is still live and evolving.
  • Launched integrations with major developers (Samolet, FSK, PIK): Pareto 80/20 prioritization closed ~80% of client-fixation requests with a minimum of integrations.
  • Cleared a backlog of 120 parser tasks in six months without adding headcount; three developers grew into product teams.
  • Staffed development teams: hundreds of screenings against my own checklists; personally hired QA and developers across several teams.
  • Managed teams of 6–7 people; on flagship initiatives coordinated several teams totaling around 20.

This is not IT project-management experience. It shows the path: working alongside my studies, three years in B2B operations, and the transition into project management in 2021. A B2B services group spanning HR administration, accounting, and legal support; OZEM LLC was one of its internal legal entities. I worked as a foot courier, handling the exchange of closing documents with clients in HoReCa and small business.

  • Independently planned routes and visit windows, delivered documents, and returned signed copies, covering up to 120 addresses per month.
  • Coordinated visits directly with accountants, business owners, administrators, and other client representatives; I did not lose a single document throughout the role.
  • Built walking and public-transport routes across Saint Petersburg and the surrounding region, including remote industrial sites; some routes ended late in the evening.
  • While trialling a QR web app, I identified a scanner flaw: the square 1:1 frame did not limit the camera's actual field of view, so multiple QR codes in view interfered with recognition. I reported it to my manager for the IT team.
  • Started formal project-management training in late 2020 and moved into an IT Project Manager role in March 2021.

A volunteer cultural and educational project at the university. I was an organizing-committee participant responsible for a separate group-meeting track, not the lead for the overall event.

  • Designed and facilitated meetings, set their goals, and adapted a question bank to the audience.
